Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and A BetterLife LLC ("we," "us," "our"), which operates the AI for Real Estate Investors mastermind at AIforREI.ai (the "Program"). By paying for, applying to, or joining the Program, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Program is

The Program trains real estate investors and their teams to run an AI-first business. It has two memberships:

• AI Lab: the starter room. One seat. Sold at checkout, no application.
• AI Elite: the operator room, for investors with real teams (3 or more employees or full-time 1099 contractors). Three team seats. Requires an application and a call.

"Member" means anyone who has paid for either membership. "Intensive" means the 2-Day AI Intensive included in your first month.

We teach skills and systems and train you and your team. We do not build your AI systems for you. The Program is not done-for-you.

2. Who can join

• You must be at least 18.
• The Program is for real estate investors only, in both Lab and Elite. We may decline or end a membership if you do not meet this.
• Elite is for operators with 3 or more employees or full-time 1099 contractors. If you are under that, you may join Lab instead.
• You are responsible for everyone on your seats and for their following these Terms.

3. What is included

Both memberships include:

• The 2-Day AI Intensive in month one, at no extra cost. We run several dates.
• A weekly 90-minute live call.
• Drop-in office hours.
• Monthly Show-and-Tell night and monthly special guest session.
• Access to the member community on Skool (or a replacement platform).

AI Lab also includes: access to the skills repo and BetterLife goal setting.

AI Elite also includes: a call room led by Brandon Turner, a week-one onboarding session, three team seats, and two in-person events per year. You pay your own flights, hotel, meals and other travel costs for in-person events.

We may change the schedule, hosts, guests, tools, platform and format of any part of the Program. If we materially reduce what a paid-up Member receives, we will tell you, and you may cancel under Section 6. We do not give credits or refunds for changes to the Program.

3A. Seats

Lab includes 1 seat and Elite includes 3 team seats. Extra seats in either membership are $1,000 per person per month. Seats are for one named person each and cannot be shared, passed around or used by anyone outside your business.

4. Fees and billing

• Upfront payment. Due when you join. It covers month one, including the Intensive.
• Monthly payment. Starts in month two and renews automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method each month.
• Founders rate. Founders pay $2,000 per month for as long as they stay a continuous Member. If a Founder cancels for any reason, the Founders rate is voided and forfeited. A Founder who rejoins pays the then-current standard Elite rate (currently $3,000 per month) plus the upfront payment. This applies no matter how long they were a Member, including after 11 or 12 months or more.
• Taxes. Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes, including Hawaii General Excise Tax where it applies, are included in the price.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it, pause your access, or end your membership. You stay responsible for any amount owed.
• Price changes. We may change monthly pricing for new Members at any time. For existing Members we will give at least 30 days' written notice before a change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
• Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A dispute for a charge that these Terms say is non-refundable may result in loss of access.

5. Love it or leave it (AI Elite)

AI Elite Members can try the Program and leave in the first stretch for a partial refund.

• The window is 30 days, starting on the day you pay.
• To use it, send written notice (email is fine) to matt@abetterlife.com within that window.
• If you do, you are not charged again, and we refund $10,000 of your $20,000 upfront payment. We keep $10,000 for month one. We send the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days of your written notice.
• You keep what you received in month one, such as the Intensive. Your access to the member portal ends (see Section 15).
• After the window closes, you can still cancel anytime under Section 6, but you are not eligible for the $10,000 refund.

AI Lab does not have a refund window. The $5,000 upfront payment is not refunded. You may cancel anytime under Section 6, and if you cancel before your first monthly charge date, the $497 monthly payment never starts.

This is not a general money-back guarantee. It is a promise that nobody is stuck in a long commitment they do not like.

6. Cancelling your membership (monthly plan)

There is no long-term contract. You can cancel your monthly membership at any time.

• How: Email matt@abetterlife.com with your name and the email you joined with, Written notice is required.
• You must cancel before your next charge date. If we receive your cancellation before the charge date, you will not be billed for that month or any month after.
• If you contact us after a charge has gone through, we will cancel your membership so you are not billed again, but we cannot refund the monthly payment that was already charged. You keep access through the end of the period you paid for.
• Your charge date. Your first monthly charge date is shown at checkout and in your receipt email, and your monthly charge date stays the same each month. It is your responsibility to cancel before it.
• Cancelling the monthly plan does not refund the upfront payment, except as stated in Section 5 (Elite).
• If you cancel and later want to return, you must pay the upfront payment again at the current price. Founders who return lose the Founders rate (see Section 4).

7. AI Elite application fee

Elite applicants pay a $1,000 application fee.

• If we decline your application, the fee is refunded in full.
• If you are approved and join, the fee counts toward your $20,000 upfront payment.
• If you are approved but do not join, the fee is refunded in full.

Refunds under this section go back to the original payment method.

8. No other refunds

Except as stated in Sections 5 and 7, all payments are non-refundable. This includes unused time, missed calls or events, not using the platforms, and extra seats.

The $99 workshop is a separate purchase with its own refund policy, which is not part of these Terms.

9. Free access offers

Some Members get AI Lab at no charge through a partner arrangement we have with them. Free access is a perk, does not include a monthly payment, may be ended by us if the qualifying relationship ends, and is still subject to these Terms.

10. Results and no guarantees

We teach methods and share examples. We do not promise any particular result. Your results depend on your market, your business, your effort, your team and many things we do not control. Nothing in the Program is a promise of income, savings, profit, deals, growth, time saved or return on investment. Examples and member stories are not typical and are not guarantees.

11. Not professional advice

The Program is education. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, lending or real estate brokerage advice. We are not your attorney, CPA, financial advisor or broker. Talk to a licensed professional before you rely on anything for a decision. You are responsible for following the laws and regulations that apply to your business, including rules on data privacy, fair housing, lending, licensing, and communications with tenants, sellers and borrowers.

12. AI tools and third-party services

The Program teaches you to use third-party AI platforms and tools (for example Claude, Grok, Skool and others). We do not own or control them. They may change, break, change pricing or go away. You are responsible for your own accounts and subscriptions with them and their terms.

AI can be wrong. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing anything AI produces before you use it, and for what you put into AI tools, including keeping confidential, personal, financial and borrower or tenant information safe and compliant with the law. We are not responsible for losses from your use of AI tools or from any system you build.

13. Member conduct

You agree to:

• Be respectful in calls, the community and events. No harassment, discrimination, spam or hard selling to other Members.
• Keep other Members' private information, business details and stories confidential.
• Not use the Program to recruit Members for another paid group, course or coaching offer without our written permission.
• Not share your login, seat or access with anyone else.

We may remove content, mute or remove a Member, or end a membership without refund for serious or repeated violations. We do not refund any part of the current month or any other payment in that case.

14. Our content and your content

• Our content. All Program materials (calls, replays, templates, skills, repos, guides, slides, community content and trainings) belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own business while you are a Member. You may not copy, resell, share, publish, record or train another product or service on them without our written permission.
• No recording. Do not record or livestream calls or events unless we say so.
• Recordings. We record our weekly calls and other live sessions, and we may upload the recordings and transcripts to the member portal for Members to watch. By attending, you agree we may record you, including your voice, image, screen and what you say. We may also run recordings and transcripts through AI tools, including internal ones, to organize, search and improve our content and the Program. Do not share anything on a call you do not want recorded.
• Your content. You keep ownership of your own business information and the systems you build. You give us permission to use anything you post in the community or share on a call to run the Program.
• Light features. By being a Member, you agree we may mention your first name only in light, non-identifying features, such as a Show-and-Tell shout-out, a call recap or a community highlight. We will not include your last name, business name, photo, video, location, results or any other personal information. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing matt@abetterlife.com.
• Fuller features and testimonials. Anything beyond that, such as your full name, business name, photo, video, a testimonial or specific results (for example the Show-and-Tell winner feature on social media), needs your written okay first. An email or message reply counts.
• Feedback. If you give us ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

15. Access ends

When your membership ends (by cancellation, non-payment or removal), your access ends to live calls, the community, replays and the internal member portal, including all templates, skills and other Program materials. Members who leave do not keep access to the portal or its contents. Anything you already built for your own business with what you learned is yours to keep.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at AIforREI.ai and, for material changes affecting current Members, email you. Continuing to use the Program after the effective date means you accept the update. If you do not accept it, cancel under Section 6 before the effective date.

17. Disclaimers

The Program is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the Program, platforms or community will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunities.
• Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Program is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.

19. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any claim must be brought in the courts located in Maui County, Hawaii, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us at matt@abetterlife.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Nothing here stops either of us from using small claims court. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class actions.

20. Privacy and communications

We collect and use your information as described in our Privacy Policy at AIforREI.ai/privacy. By joining, you agree to receive Program emails (calls, reminders, account and billing notices). Text messages are sent only if you opt in separately with the text-message checkbox at checkout or on your application. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time, but we will still send account and billing notices.

21. General

• Electronic acceptance. You accept these Terms by checking the box at checkout or on your application that says you agree to them. We keep a record of your acceptance, including the date, time and the version of the Terms you accepted. The $99 workshop checkout links to the workshop's own refund policy.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, the checkout page you accepted, and any written addendum are the whole agreement between us about the Program.
• If a part is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• No waiver. If we do not enforce something, we have not given up the right to later.
• Assignment. We may transfer these Terms to a successor or affiliate. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including platform outages.
