Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how A BetterLife LLC ("we," "us," "our"), which operates the AI for Real Estate Investors mastermind at AIforREI.ai (the "Program"), collects, uses and shares your information. By using our website or joining the Program, you agree to this Policy. Our Terms and Conditions are at AIforREI.ai/terms.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and business name.
• Application and profile details: for AI Elite, your answers on the application, such as your team size, business and goals. For both memberships, anything you tell us on onboarding forms or in calls.
• Payment details: when you pay, our payment processor collects your card or bank details. We do not store your full card number. We receive the last four digits, the billing name, the amount, and the date of each payment.
• Messages and content: emails, messages, questions you send through forms, and what you post in the community or share on calls.

Information we collect automatically

• Website and device data: your IP address, browser, device type, pages you visit, the website that sent you to us, and the date and time of your visit.
• Cookies, pixels and similar tools: including advertising pixels from Meta and Google. See Section 5.
• Program activity: whether you attend calls, open our emails, or use the member portal.
• Call recordings and transcripts: we record our weekly calls and other live sessions. A recording can include your voice, image, screen, name and what you say. See Section 6.

Information from others

• Partners who refer you to the Program, such as a lending, coaching or community partner, may share your name and contact details with us.
• Our service providers may give us information about your payments or sign-ups.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Sell, run and deliver the Program, including processing payments, giving you access to calls, the member portal and the community, and scheduling Intensives and events.
• Review Elite applications and hold the call with you.
• Send you emails and, if you have opted in, texts about the Program, such as reminders, schedule changes, and billing and account notices.
• Send you marketing emails about the Program and related offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Support you, answer your questions and handle cancellations and refunds.
• Record, transcribe, organize and search our calls and content, including with AI tools (see Section 6).
• Improve the Program and our website, measure what works and fix problems.
• Show and measure our ads, including to people who visited our site (see Section 5).
• Keep records, protect against fraud and abuse, and follow the law.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as needed:

• Advertising partners. We use Meta and Google advertising pixels (see Section 5). These tools send information about your visit, such as pages you view, your IP address and device identifiers, and sometimes your email address, to Meta and Google so we can measure and target our ads. Under some state privacy laws this counts as "sharing" for targeted advertising, and you can opt out (see Section 8).
• Service providers. Companies that help us run the Program, such as payment processing, email and text delivery, our community and member platforms, scheduling and webinar tools, customer relationship management, website hosting and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Partners you came through. If you joined through a partner arrangement (for example, free AI Lab access through a partner), we may confirm to that partner that you joined. We do not share your payment details or private messages.
• Other members. Your first name may appear in light features, such as a Show-and-Tell shout-out, as described in our Terms. Your other details are shared only if you post them or give us your written okay.
• Legal and safety reasons. When the law requires it, to respond to legal requests, to enforce our Terms, or to protect our rights, our Members or others.
• Business changes. If we merge, are bought or sell part of our business, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must follow this Policy.

We do not share your phone number with anyone for their own marketing.

4. Texts and emails

• Emails. By joining, you agree to receive Program emails, including billing and account notices. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. We will still send you account and billing notices.
• Texts. We send texts only if you opt in separately with the text-message box at checkout or on your application. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy or join.

5. Cookies, advertising pixels and analytics

We and our providers use cookies, pixels and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your settings, understand how people use our site and measure and target our marketing. This includes the Meta Pixel and a Google pixel. They let us see which ads lead to visits and sign-ups and show our ads to people who visited our site or are like them.

You can limit this:

• Change your browser settings or use a browser or extension that blocks trackers. If you turn cookies off, parts of the site may not work.
• Use your ad settings on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google to limit personalized ads.
• Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. We honor it where the law requires.
• Email us at matt@abetterlife.com and ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising.

We do not use these tools to send ad networks your payment details.

6. AI tools and call recordings

Recordings. We record our weekly calls and other live sessions. We upload them, and their transcripts, to the member portal so Members can watch later. We may also feed recordings and transcripts into AI tools, including internal ones, to organize, search and summarize our content and to improve the Program. Recordings can include your voice, image, screen, name and anything you say or show, including questions about your business. Do not share anything on a call that you do not want recorded.

Your own AI use. The Program teaches you to use third-party AI tools. When you use those tools, their own privacy policies apply, not ours. Do not put sensitive information into an AI tool unless you have checked that it is safe and legal to do so, including personal information about your tenants, borrowers, sellers or employees. If you share a screen, file or prompt on a call or in the community, we may see and store it as part of running the Program.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as you are a Member and for a reasonable time after, so we can handle billing questions, disputes, taxes and legal requirements. We keep payment and tax records for as long as the law requires. We keep Elite applications and our customer relationship records, including for people we do not accept, for as long as we have a business reason to. We keep call recordings and transcripts for as long as they are useful to run and improve the Program. You can ask us to delete your information under Section 8, and we will where the law gives you that right.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Ask to see the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information. We may keep what we need for payments, taxes, disputes or the law.
• Opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time.
• Opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sharing" of your information with advertising partners.
• Ask for a copy of your information in a common format where the law gives you that right.

To make a request, email matt@abetterlife.com from the email address you used with us. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will reply within the time the law requires, and not later than 45 days. If your state gives you more rights, such as California, Virginia, Colorado or other states, you can use those rights too. If we say no to a request, you may appeal by replying to our email. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

9. Security

We use reasonable steps to protect your information, including working with providers who protect data. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for any account tied to the Program and tell us right away if you think someone has used your account.

10. Children

The Program is for adults and is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Our site and the Program may link to other websites, platforms and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

12. Where your information is stored

We are based in Hawaii, United States. Our providers may store and process your information in the United States and in other countries. By using the Program, you agree to this.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting current Members, we will also email you. If you keep using the Program after the change, you accept the updated Policy.
